This latest achievement puts Telefónica Tech UK&I in an elite group of Partners in the UK to hold all 6 Microsoft Solution Partner Designations.

The Microsoft designation for security is the latest addition to Telefónica Tech UK&I’s trophy cabinet of solution designations. Achieving the solutions partner for Security designation demonstrates Telefónica Tech UK&I’s commitment to helping customers safeguard their entire organisation, by using integrated security, compliance, and identity solutions.

Telefónica Tech UK&I, which includes both Incremental and Adatis, has obtained 6 designations in various areas of the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program since its introduction in late 2022. Aligned to the Microsoft Cloud, these specializations display Telefónica Tech UK&I’s technical expertise. These areas include:

• Data & AI (Azure),
• Infrastructure (Azure),
• Digital & App Innovation (Azure),
• Modern Work,
• Business Applications,
• Security.

The achievement of all 6 Microsoft designations is not one to be glossed over lightly. Microsoft measures partners’ success by analysing their capabilities in the below categories:

• Performance – measured by customer additions.
• Skilling – verifies and demonstrates a partner’s dedication to skilling and training. Points are awarded for each person on a team, with specified certifications.
• Customer success – measured by usage growth and number of successful solution deployments.

The new approach on a partners capabilities are then scored, based on a points system. To attain a Microsoft Solutions Partner Designation, a partner will need to earn at least 70 points (including points in each subcategory) out of the available 100 points. A partner who achieves the required number of points will then be awarded a designation, bolstering their ‘expert’ status in that area.
