Telefónica Tech Wins Best Managed Services Solution at the IT Europa Channel Awards

Telefónica Tech has won the Best Managed Services Solution at the IT Europa Channel Awards announced at a ceremony in London on May 19th, 2022. This award illustrates Telefónica Tech’s expertise as an Enterprise Managed Services Provider and its position as a strategic partner for the healthcare sector.

 

The award was in recognition of Telefónica Tech’s stand out transformation projects that have helped to advance digitalisation in NHS hospital Trusts in the UK. The award demonstrated the benefits gained from a stable enterprise managed service designed specifically for clinical services. Namely, a resilient network, prompt support, and the use of initiatives such as Single Sign-On and Self-Service Password Reset Trusts.  These initiatives have helped to optimise the time spent providing care, instead of wrangling with technology.

 

Another factor that has contributed to Telefónica Tech gaining this recognition has been the greater efficiency it has helped the cash-strapped NHS achieve. For example, in one Trust cost savings were placed at £3million a year.*

 

The benefits provided by our SOC (Security Operations Centre) and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) were also called out for improving cyber security ratings within hospitals and for reducing security risks through proactive, continuous monitoring of threats.

 

The IT Europa Channel Awards, formerly the European IT and Software Excellence Awards, are designed to recognise and reward excellence in software development, IT, and telecommunications solutions provision in Europe. Now in their thirteenth year, they are recognised as Europe’s most prestigious IT channel awards. The awards bring together leading channel partners, resellers, systems integrators, ISVs, MSPs, service providers, distributors, solution providers, and channel marketers from across Europe.

Telefónica Tech UK&I also received recognition for its workplace transformation project for leading UK blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan, receiving Highly Commended in the Cloud Solution Provider of the Year category.
