Telefónica Tech Named Financial Technology Partner of the Year 2026
Telefónica Tech has been named Financial Technology Partner of the Year 2026 by the Scottish Financial Technology Awards, reflecting our commitment to innovation in the Financial Services industry.
This award recognises Telefónica Tech’s longstanding partnership with Money & Pensions Service (MaPS). MaPS is a UK government-sponsored organisation that aims to improve financial wellbeing nationwide, offering guidance and support on money management, pensions, and debt advice.
Telefónica Tech has worked closely with MaPS for over seven years, supporting multiple business areas and delivering measurable, organisation-wide impact. During our partnership, MaPS has more than doubled from 400 to over 950 employees, enabled by scalable, modern digital platforms that underpin efficient operations and enhanced service delivery.
Hosted at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, the Scottish Financial Technology Awards concluded the Scottish Fintech Festival, brought together by cluster community FinTech Scotland.
