Telefónica Tech recognised in techUK report on the future of digital healthcare
Telefónica Tech has been featured in a new techUK report highlighting how technology is helping to deliver the NHS 10-Year Health Plan and accelerate the shift from analogue to digital healthcare. The report, From Analogue to Digital October 2026, was launched at techUK’s Health and Care Summit and brings together examples from across the UK technology sector that are already driving measurable improvements in health and care delivery.
The report argues that the technology needed to achieve the ambitions of the NHS 10-Year Health Plan already exists today. Through a series of industry case studies, it demonstrates how digital innovation is helping healthcare organisations improve access to services, make better use of data, support clinicians, increase productivity and deliver more joined-up care.
Telefónica Tech was selected as a featured contributor within the report’s Data & Interoperability section, which explores the critical role that connected data and secure information sharing will play in the future of healthcare.
The report highlights Telefónica Tech’s work with Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust on the Thames Valley & Surrey Secure Data Environment, recognising how secure and trusted data platforms can help enable research, innovation and collaboration across health and care organisations while maintaining strong governance and public trust.
The inclusion reflects Telefónica Tech’s continued commitment to helping NHS organisations unlock the value of their data safely and responsibly, supporting better decision-making, improved patient outcomes and faster innovation.
The report also reinforces a wider message for the health sector: that delivering the NHS’s ambitions for digital transformation is not dependent on future technologies, but on scaling proven solutions that are already delivering results today.
