An Agentathon is a hands-on, collaborative event where business professionals (in this case, police force professionals) work with our industry and technology experts to build AI-powered agents using Microsoft’s Power Platform and Copilot Studio. These agents automate workflows, reduce manual tasks, and improve data accuracy. Participants co-create solutions tailored to their organisation’s needs, often transforming existing spreadsheets, paper forms, or legacy systems into intelligent, automated processes.

You’ll leave with a Minimum Viable Agent (MVA): a working prototype of an AI agent that solves a real operational challenge in your Force. You’ll also gain a clear Agentic AI blueprint for scaling automation across departments, plus hands-on experience with Microsoft tools and Telefónica Tech’s policing automation expertise.

AI agents help police forces streamline operations, reduce administrative burdens, improve data quality, free up time for citizen engagement, and ultimately, enhance citizen outcomes.

They enable automation of back-office processes like case management, contract management, procurement, and workforce administration—making processes more efficient and compliant.

To get the most out of the Agentathon, there are some steps you can and should take ahead of time. Preparation for this Policing Agentathon involves:

2. *Gathering relevant data sources (e.g., spreadsheets, forms, Access databases)
3. *Engaging with Telefónica Tech to discuss your goals and challenges

This means we can maximise your time on the day, turning ideas into usable AI agents. We’ll walk you through these steps at our mandatory Intro Call ahead of the event (information to join will be shared once you have registered).
