We understand how important it is to feel confident when choosing a delivery partner. It’s about more than just capability — it’s about trust, consistency, and being in safe hands.

That’s why we have a dedicated team of experienced Agile Project Managers who bring structure and clarity to every engagement. Backed by Telefónica Tech’s 17 years of Data & AI project delivery experience, we’ve developed a robust and proven approach to managing projects of all shapes and sizes.

While most of our projects follow Agile principles, we also understand the importance of meeting deadlines and staying within budget. Whether it’s sprint-based delivery or a more structured plan, we tailor our approach to suit the outcomes you need — without losing sight of time and cost.

In this blog, we’ll share some of the key pillars behind how we deliver.

1. We start right
Getting off on the right foot is everything. For us, that starts well before a project even kicks off — beginning with who we hire. We only bring in top-tier talent, no exceptions. That way, from day one, our clients know they’re in safe, capable hands. When we build a project team, we don’t just look at skills — we carefully choose the right people for the specific project, making sure they’re the right fit for the client, the culture, and the challenges at hand. It’s about creating a team our clients can feel comfortable with, and confident in.

Before any project is mobilised, we go through a detailed estimation process. There are no shortcuts — just careful planning and multiple stage gates to make sure everything stacks up before a statement of work is signed.

Once the groundwork is in place, we know we’re set up for success: the right people, realistic expectations, and a shared understanding of both the outcome we’re aiming for and the way we’ll work together to get there.

And before anything formally begins, we give the delivery team the chance to revisit and re-baseline the estimates. That way, everyone’s fully aligned on what’s being delivered — and what it’ll take to get there.

2. We’re thorough
Our Project Managers don’t just sit in the background — they’re hands-on, proactive, and involved in every detail of the project. From flagging and acting on future dependencies, to tracking what the team plans to achieve each week, they’re always one step ahead. Even after delivery, we make sure there’s a plan in place for what comes next.We also understand the questions every client wants answered: Will it be delivered on time? Will it be delivered within budget? That’s why we’ve built automated processes that give our Project Managers real-time visibility into key metrics — like burn rate and planned vs. actual vs forecasted effort. They know exactly where things stand — daily — so our clients never have to guess.

We hold regular checkpoints and retrospectives to course-correct quickly and keep momentum. Risks and issues aren’t just logged — they’re actively monitored and addressed before they become blockers. And when things change (as they often do), we’re ready to adapt with minimal disruption.

Thorough project management means being in control, staying transparent, and always being a step ahead — and that’s exactly what we aim for.

3. We’re transparent
No one likes surprises — and that’s something we take seriously. From the outset, we set clear expectations with our clients: we’ll always be open, available, and honest. We welcome questions, we value feedback, and we actively encourage our clients to let us know where we can do better, for example by playing an active role in our sprint retrospectives. If we’re concerned about something — whether it’s project risks, scope changes, or delivery timelines — the client knows about it straight away. We make sure everyone involved, both on our side and the client’s, has a clear view of the project’s health at all times.

At a minimum, we share a weekly status report — a format we’ve refined over the past 10 years — tailored to the needs of the project. It includes all the information any stakeholder might need, from progress updates to risks, blockers, and next steps.

On top of that, we run dedicated weekly project management check-ins, giving space for deeper conversations, clarifications, and course corrections. Our RAID logs are fully transparent and shared in real time — there’s no black box here.

Our estimates are also completely open — we show our working and how we got there and encourage input from our clients.

And when we say one team, we mean it. We strive to use the same communication channels, work side-by-side as much as possible (clients are welcome to join us in the office anytime), and create a shared space where collaboration thrives.

4. We plan

While most of our projects follow an agile approach, we know that agile isn’t a one-size-fits-all. That’s why we take time at the start of every engagement to agree the right way of working — and we stay open to refining that as the project evolves.Being agile doesn’t mean we don’t plan — it means we plan with flexibility. We build detailed plans, but we’re not afraid to adapt when client needs change. In fact, we welcome change and make sure it’s managed in a way that protects timelines, budget, and quality.

We use a mix of in-house tools, along with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, and others to plan, track, and report progress. We don’t dictate tools — we make recommendations, then work with our clients to find what fits best for the project and the team.

Our planning approach is layered. We’re clear on what’s been committed to in the contract, and we typically take an iceberg-style view: we know the near-term work in detail, and we’ve mapped the mid- and long-term milestones with just enough flexibility to adapt as needed. Crucially, we also know what needs to land in each sprint to stay on track for budget, timelines, and scope.

Every deliverable has a place in our plan, and our Agile Project Managers track what’s due, what’s in progress, and any risks or dependencies that could affect it. And as with everything else we do — we’re thorough, transparent, and ready to respond when things shift.
